USOS UNLESS, EVEN IF, AS LONG AS ANDA PROVIDING CON CONDICIONAL

Ciertas palabras nos permiten expresar condiciones:

Unless: al menos que

Utilizamos oraciones condicionales con la estructura “unless” para hacer excepciones.
Por ejemplo:
“We can go to the beach this weekend, unless it rains”
(Podemos ir a la playa este fin de semana, a no ser que llueva)
“He won’t go, unless his girlfriend goes with him”
(Él no irá, a no ser que también vaya su novia)



 Even If = Incluso si 


Por ejemplo:

"Even If she does her homework she'll fail the level"

(Incluso si ella hace su tarea reprobarà el nivel)

"Even If I get married you'll always be my friend"


(Incluso si yo me caso tu siempre seras mi amigo(a))



"Even If they don't do the work they'll get the money" 


(Incluso si ellos no hacen el trabajo recibiran el dinero)

"Even If my mom comes tonight I'll go to the party"

(Incluso si mi mamà llega esta noche yo irè a la fiesta) 


"Even If that song is good the singer doesn't like me"


(Incluso si esa cancion es buena la cantante no me gusta)

"Even If I lose the job I'll go on vacation"


(Incluso si pierdo el trabajo yo me ire de vacaciones)

"Even If that place is far I'm going to go" 


(Incluso si ese lugar está lejos voy a ir) 



As long as = siempre y cuando, condición de 
Detrás de "as long as"  va siempre un verbo  en presente, pero expresa una idea futura.


Por ejemplo:
" We'll work as long as they pay us."

(Trabajaremos siempre y cuando nos paguen).

"I'll help you as long as I live."

(Te ayudaré mientras viva.)

"They'll sing as long as you ask them."

(Cantarán a condición de que se lo pidas.)


provided/providing (dado que, ya que, etc.).

Por ejemplo:

"Traveling by car is convenient provided (that) you have somewhere to park."

(Viajar en coche es conveniente siempre y cuando tengas donde aparcar).

Pasar de la voz activa a la voz pasiva


Las frases siguientes utilizan la voz pasiva. Completa las frases escribiendo la forma correcta del verbo indicado: 
1. Maria was  to stop singing. (tell)

2. They were  by the ending. (surprise)

3. Michael was  by his grandparents. (raise)

4. This house was  by a famous architect. (design)

5. The child was  up by his father. (pick up)

6. The bank robbers were never (catch)

7. This book was  by Ernest Hemingway. (write)

9. My flight was  because of bad weather. (delay)

10. Classes were  by the principal. (cancel) 





Escribe las siguientes oraciones en voz pasiva.

Escribe los verbos en pasivo en el tiempo correspondiente.

Transforma las frases activas en pasivas utilizando el mismo tiempo verbal.

Forma oraciones en pasivo impersonal.

Forma oraciones en pasivo impersonal.

Vuelve a escribir las frases en la voz pasiva sin utilizar la primera palabra de la frase. Tienes un ejemplo.
Example: They are collecting the furniture tomorrow.
